Henry Lee Palmer, aka “Teddy” was the beloved son of the late Gertrude Terrell and Henry Lee Palmer Sr. and was born on December 21, 1946 in San Bernardino, California.
Teddy was a lifelong resident of Riverside, California, where he attended public schools and excelled in football and track and field. He was named Riverside City’s High Jump Champion. In 1964 he graduated from Ramona High School and went on to unroll in Riverside Community College, where he played basketball under the leadership of Jerry Tarkanian. At the age of nineteen Teddy was drafted in the United States Army. His tour of duty took him overseas, where he fought in the Vietnam War. He was later Honorable Discharged.
For thirty years Teddy owned and operated Tax Payers Diversified Services. His success in business can be directly attributed to his strong work ethic and his attention to detail.
Teddy loved life, cooking and entertaining his family and friends. He particularly loved a good game of dominoes and regularly hosted domino games for the guys under the tree.
In his leisure he enjoyed gardening, working on his computer and listening to jazz music. He had a keen sense of style and was a “sharp” dresser, who always sported a “fedora”.
